An Interview with

Christina Hatch

Q1 - Hey!  Thanks for taking the time to be here.  Can you start by sharing a little bit about yourself and your business? 

For the past 7 years I've been on a wellness journey for myself and my family of 5. We had some pretty crucial health concerns happen to my then 4 year old, and it opened up my eyes to overall wellness. All of the education that I have learned throughout those years I am putting in to helping others with. The things I learned ranged from finding local holistic resources to knowing how to get your water and air in your house tested. I will never stop learning and I will always keep helping others.

Q2 - I love learning about how people began as a real estate agent because our stories are always so different.  What was the inspiration or reason you decided to get into real estate? 

I've been in love with real estate for as many years as I can remember. When I was 20, I took my real estate classes; however, I was SO nervous about taking the state tests, that I didn't finalize it. Fast forward 19 years of watching way to many episodes of house hunters, obsessively scouring Zillow, and I found myself finally ready to actually do this. I believe I needed to go through what I went through with our health so that I could step into this field with greater purpose.

Q3 - What services do you offer? And why did you choose to offer those particular services? 

I offer my clients all of the local holistic community resources. I've put in the time with various local companies and am able to link clients up with them. I am also able to do a FREE EMF reading in their homes or the homes they are looking to purchase.

Q4 - Can you recall a challenging client or situation that you were able to fix or overcome?  How did you fix it?

Working with older clients who don't necessarily want to move out of their homes (but they have to) has always pulled on my heartstrings. I take situations like this with deep empathy. Understanding that every person and real estate transaction is so very different, has helped me support each individual client.

Q5 - What have you learned about yourself and your business over the years?  How has your business changed to adapt to changing buyer and seller needs?

I am always morphing to what my clients need. I'm extremely open minded and love to learn. This allows me to really work with each persons needs.

Q6 - Real estate is not easy.  If you could go back in time what advice would you give yourself?

Id' tell myself that everything happens for a reason. And most of these situations were learning experiences that I would not want to change for the world.

Q7- We've all had amazing clients or stories to share that make being an agent all worth it.  Can you share a story about a teammate, vendor or client that really impacted you and touched your heart? 

Right when I started off in Real Estate, my husband and I were out eating and met this lovely couple from out of town who were scoping out various towns in my area that they may want to move to. We chatted for awhile and I gave them my business card. I did not expect them to keep my card whatsoever. A year later, a call came in from an unknown number. I answered it and wouldn't you know it was that couple... They kept my card! Working with them was a dream!

Q8 - If a potential client were reading this article, what would you tell them about you, your team or your business that would convince them to choose you?

Life is about finding Joy in the everyday things. One of the ways to find joy is through being present. You can't be present when you have a million things going on. I pride myself on the idea of Quality over Quantity. I am there for my clients through every single step and emotion along the process. You pretty much get a life coach while for your home buying or selling process.

Q9 - Fun fact about yourself that people may not know.

I homeschool my 3 young kiddos. And I have a business with Young Living Essential Oils

Q10 - Where do you see your business going in the next 5 to 10 years?

I would love to grow our business into a team of holistic agents. I would like to get all of the major certifications for green homes and also things similar to Feng Shui.
