An Interview with

Ashley Rose Gonzalez

Q1 - Hey!  Thanks for taking the time to be here.  Can you start by sharing a little bit about yourself and your business? 

My name is Ashley Rose I am a Green Realtor with One Sothebys International Realty & Realty Sage. I am also a Biophilic/Feng Shui Interior Designer. I have brought all of my spiritual practices into my clients homes As a Reiki Master I infuse Reiki energy with Sage/Palo Santo into all 4 corners of their home, and alchemizing the energy with sound bowls. As a Culinary Alchemist Chef I also offer my clients a customized home cooked meal for them and their family in their new kitchen. My intention is to always create a unique experience customized to each client based on their personal needs. My goal is create a regenerative sustainable process that gives back to Earth and brings clients to their Home Sweet Home :-)

With my experience as a Yoga Teacher & Spiritual Life Coach, I'm able to help my clients on a deeper level and help them in all ways :-)

Q2 - I love learning about how people began as a real estate agent because our stories are always so different.  What was the inspiration or reason you decided to get into real estate? 

My real estate journey started as a little girl, my Dad has been an agent for many years. As a child I would go with him and help him stage his open houses and help him find homes for his clients. I officially started my Real estate journey during Covid, I had to pivot my business and I took that time to study and take my exam. With my experience as a Fashion Editor & Motivational Personal Stylist in the fashion industry for many years, I am now using that experience to help my clients design their homes with sustainable furnishings that are healthy for them and their sacred spaces. I started Ashley Rose Sacred Spaces with the intention to have all of my businesses work cohesively together and bring it into my clients homes. I started with building a brokerage at Team 22 Realty with a team of 10 agents where I designed the office based on Feng Shui elements and Biophilic Design, and then switched to One Sotheby's International Realty to have a more global reach, I'm thankful for my experience building a real estate business from scratch, it has given me a great foundation for success with a global brand now :-)

Q3 - What services do you offer? And why did you choose to offer those particular services? 

As a Green Realtor I love helping my clients find eco homes that are built with more sustainable practices,
I'm a featured agent with Realty Sage and also have created a relationship with Latitude Regenerative Real Estate.

I also offer my design services to my real estate clients:
Biophilic/ Feng Shui Design
Moodboards, 3D Virtual Design/Floor Plans
Closet Organization
Crypto/ Meta Certified Agent
Home Remodeling
Staging

I love to offer all of these services to my clients and to be able to help them with their whole process.

Q4 - Can you recall a challenging client or situation that you were able to fix or overcome?  How did you fix it?

I recently invested in my first condo property in Pompano Beach, it was the hardest and longest transaction I have ever done.
I overcame all of the obstacles in between by handling each situation with grace and by finding solutions. Towards the end it was very challenging and I was almost ready to give up on my loan but in the end as a team we made it work and I was able to close. I am thankful for this experience because I have even more compassion for my clients now because I went through the experience first hand and can now help them with informed details for each step of the way. It not only makes me a better agent but also a Real Estate Investor.

Q5 - What have you learned about yourself and your business over the years?  How has your business changed to adapt to changing buyer and seller needs?

I've learned not to take anything personal and to keep my emotions out of business. This was challenging for me because I do everything with deep intention and love and had to learn not to take things personally when clients approach me with their problems and only focus on finding solutions to their needs. I have grown and evolved into a more educated and knowledgeable realtor through the years. I believe every agent should buy or sell their own real estate so they could fully understand how it feels on the other side, it helps give us a personal perspective to help our clients more.

Q6 - Real estate is not easy.  If you could go back in time what advice would you give yourself?

Don't Give up and Be Gentle with yourself and allow yourself to make mistakes, it will help you in your career and make you a better agent. Nobody is You and that is your Power. People can steal your recipe, but never the sauce. Find something that can be your niche and truly live and embody it. Stay true to Who You Are. You are not just an agent, you are more than your career, You matter, take care of your mental and emotional health. I believe the clients that are for you will be for you, you don't have to convince anyone to work with you, if they choose another agent, they were not meant for you and that is ok. It's also ok to say "NO" and choose not to work with a client that is not aligned and/or chooses to talk to you disrespectfully. Allow work to be play, if you're not having fun then what is the point. Always be dressed for success, you never know who you are going to meet and connect with on your journey. Don't let anyone tell you, you can only do one thing, you are infinite and you can do all the things that your heart desires. Know what sparks the light in you, then use that light to illuminate the world.

Q7- We've all had amazing clients or stories to share that make being an agent all worth it.  Can you share a story about a teammate, vendor or client that really impacted you and touched your heart? 

The most amazing feeling is Closing Day for my clients, seeing their faces during the last walk through and when they are signing at closing always touches my heart and soul every time <3

Q8 - If a potential client were reading this article, what would you tell them about you, your team or your business that would convince them to choose you?

I'm thankful to work with my amazing Business Partner Alain Brodeur, when you work with us you have a whole team behind you working with you to make your dream home a reality.

Luxury is not a Price Point, it's a level of distinct customer service that we share with all of our clients. Nothing Compares

Our clients become great friends and family, we are so thankful that 80% of our business comes from referrals, we do great work for our clients and our global partners, that they recommend us to their friends, family, and clients and that is the best compliment.

We treat every client with the same level of service. We share both feminine and masculine energies to be able to help our clients in all ways. We have created a system and every transaction we master it through each step.

One of the things that I absolutely love to do is to design a customized gift basket for them at closing for their home with items I picked for their home and their personal use based on what I have learned about them, it's a personal gift that lives beyond the transaction.

Q9 - Fun fact about yourself that people may not know.

As a 4'11 model I got the cover of Fashion Avenue News Magazine in the middle of Times Square wearing Rocky Gathercole who has dressed many celebrities including Lady Gaga & J Lo and was published in New York, London, Paris, Milan, & Tokyo. It has been one of the highlights of my career. I also love to dance. I've been reading tarot cards for over 10 years, it's one of my favorite sessions to share with my clients, I use the Feng Shui cards spread depicting the Bagua Map for my real estate clients.

Q10 - Where do you see your business going in the next 5 to 10 years?

I am dedicated to building and designing sustainable homes for the community, and I am excited to expand my clientele all around the world and travel to build my Real estate portfolio.
